The Ali Forney Center is proud to partner with Elevate Prize Foundation and support the impact campaign surrounding The Dads, a powerful film that explores fatherhood, acceptance, and the transformative impact of loving LGBTQ+ children fully and unapologetically.
As the nation’s largest organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness, the Ali Forney Center understands firsthand how family rejection can shape the trajectory of a young person’s life. Through this partnership, we hope to use the film as a catalyst for conversation, healing, education, and action, helping families, communities, and institutions better understand the critical role affirmation plays in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.
Selected through the Elevate Prize Foundation impact partnership initiative, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to dignity, visibility, and ensuring that LGBTQ+ young people everywhere are met not with rejection, but with love, safety, and belonging.
