Why I Included AFC in my Estate

Including a nonprofit in my estate plan felt like a powerful way to create lasting change beyond my lifetime. Supporting the Ali Forney Center ensures that the work I care about most will continue to thrive, even after I’m gone. I named AFC as a beneficiary on my life insurance policy to ensure that our vulnerable LGBTQ+ youth have a place to call home, meals to eat, and access to life-saving services.

It’s a way of saying: I was here, and I stood up for those who needed it most.”
