The Ali Forney Center hosts various special events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness. We’re committed to spending less than 5% of our revenue on creating these special events to raise funds and awareness for our mission. Join us in making a difference for homeless LGBTQ+ youth by taking part in one of these fun events.
Night of 1,000 Judys

Called “a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert” by The Wall Street Journal, Night of a Thousand Judys will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer.

OASIS is our annual summer rooftop benefit. As the largest LGBTQ+ summer cocktail party in NYC outside of Pride, more than a thousand people come out to support AFC. Enjoy cocktails, auctions, and live entertainment by RuPaul’s Drag Race superstars. Past entertainers include Parker Posey, Alaska, Detox, Luxx Noir London, the cast of HBO’s “Looking”, and more.
I Put a Spell on You

"I Put a Spell on You" pays homage to the cult favorite Disney film *Hocus Pocus* with a high-octane concert-meets-dance party a s the entertainment community comes together to benefit the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest agency serving LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.
SERVE

SERVE is our annual dance-a-thon to fight food insecurity for homeless LGBTQ+ youth. SERVE is bringing together the worlds of food, nightlife, dancing, and music all day to raise critical funds for our year-round meal program.
Team up, raise funds, and put on your dancing shoes! We promise a full day of meaningful experiences, notable entertainment, and most of all -- as much dancing as possible!
